The Department of Financial and Economic Law at Asia University was established in 2002. Upholding the university’s core values of “Care, Health, Innovation, and Excellence,” the department continuously develops specialized programs that align with social and economic trends to nurture legal professionals who possess both expertise in law and literacy in finance, as well as a broad vision and a strong sense of social responsibility.
The undergraduate program is divided into two divisions: Financial and Economic Law and Technology Law, each admitting 60 students annually. Since 2014, the department has also offered a Master’s program in Financial and Economic Law, divided into Group A (for law graduates) and Group B (for non-law graduates), with 15 students admitted each year.
The undergraduate curriculum consists of three major tracks: Financial Law, Technology Law, and Legal Practice. The Master’s program features “Legal Risk Management” as its core focus, strengthening interdisciplinary integration within the field of financial and economic law, while cultivating students with global perspectives, professional ethics, and practical competence.
